Training Agreement
The course provided by Driving Instructor Training (GT) Ltd consists of:
- Part 1 - a home study course consisting of textbooks and study guide with mock tests.
- 2 hours part 2 training
- 2 x 2 hours part 3 training
- 2 hours Hazard Perception Training
- Part 2 - 10 hours of in-car tuition together with a Part 2 manual.
- Part 3 - 40 hours of classroom and in-car tuition together with a Part 3 manual and instructional visual aids.
- Business Start-up - classroom session.
The training will take place at such location as advised by Driving Instructor Training (GT) Ltd.
Training for parts 2 and 3 will be one to one. Any additional training required will be £40 per hour.
Before proceeding please read the following:
- The course fees exclude Driving Standards Agency test fees and registration fee. If you have opted for the full programme you should be aware that, should you decide not to continue with the course, then any loss of profit and an administration fee (currently £50) will be deducted before any refund is made. As an alternative to the full programme, you have the choice to pay for each part individually on the day you start each part. Once each part has been started, course fees are non-refundable. Refunds do not apply after a period of 6 months from commencing.
- If you have not completed your training within 2 years of the date of this agreement you will be required to pay the equivalent of any price increase that may have occurred.
- You are at all times responsible for maintaining contact with Driving Instructor Training (GT) Ltd and for advising them of any change to your address or telephone number.
- Driving Instructor Training (GT) Ltd cannot guarantee that completion of the course will result in you passing the qualifying exams.
- Driving Instructor Training (GT) Ltd will advise you of the practise that is required for parts 2 and 3 and you agree to undertake such practise in your own time and vehicle.
- You must give at least 5 working days notice if you are unable to attend any training sessions to avoid incurring additional costs.
- Driving Instructor Training (GT) Ltd reserve the right to refuse training to anyone deemed unfit for such training ie. under the influence, or recent influence of alcohol and/or inappropriate drugs. If training is refused for this reason on the day of training, then that training day will be deducted from your training allowance.
- You are responsible for advising Driving Instructor Training (GT) Ltd of any relevant personal medical details before starting the course or that occur during the course.
